Landscape pictures of cornfields & sunsets

These photographs show some of the most evocative scenes in the Cotswolds, with fields of golden corn set against a brilliant blue sky.

After the harvest the fields are patterned with rows of stubble and dotted with circular bales of corn. The ploughed fields turn a rich chestnut brown, whilst in some fields the fresh green of newly planted crops is already showing through.

Cotswold sunsets can be truly spectacular as the sun goes down behind the rolling hills. High in the Cotswolds the clear air and light accentuate the colours making this area a magnet for artists and photographers.
