Photographs of Flowers
The Cotswolds are a haven for a wide variety of flowers which are
becoming an increasingly rare sight in the British landscape.
The cornfields are still occasionally ablaze with scarlet poppies,
whilst oil-seed rape can turn whole areas of the countryside a dazzling
yellow. In spring visitors are drawn to Painswick Rococo Gardens,
where drifts of snowdrops carpet the woods. Bluebell woods such
as the one pictured at Highnam are a familiar sight and the purple
spires of foxgloves push through the ferns in the Forest of Dean.
